Today in room 403, we talked about plants and how they get their nutrients. We discussed how plants absorb water through their roots and how water is necessary for all forms of life. As an experiment, we placed celery stalks in cups of water with food coloring. When the water was absorbed by the celery, you can see it turn the color of the food coloring! Pretty cool, huh?
